Understanding Mental Health First Aid Training
Delivered by Steve from People First Allied Health, a Licensed MHFA Instructor and Trainer, this course gives staff evidence based skills they can use with confidence in everyday situations.
Mental Health First Aid training teaches people how to recognise the signs that someone may be experiencing a mental health problem, how to respond in a supportive way, and how to encourage professional help where appropriate.
In this course, participants learn the ALGEE action plan, practical communication skills, and ways to reduce stigma so that conversations about mental health feel more open, respectful, and safe. The focus is on real-life situations in workplaces, homes, and community settings.
