Recovery Coaching

Understanding
Recovery Coaching

Recovery Coaching focuses on helping individuals strengthen their independence, increase stability and build the capacity to manage their mental health and daily routines. It combines goal setting, planning and skill building with ongoing emotional and practical support.

Our coaches take time to understand your strengths, needs and experiences. Together, you will explore what is important to you, identify challenges and develop a clear plan to build confidence and progress toward your goals. Support may include connecting with services, navigating the NDIS, organising appointments or working through daily challenges in a safe and supportive way.

Common Areas of Support

Our Recovery Coaches can help with:

  • Building confidence and independence
  • Strengthening emotional resilience
  • Managing daily routines and tasks
  • Navigating appointments and community services
  • Understanding and coordinating NDIS supports
  • Developing problem-solving and communication skills
  • Creating plans for stability and well-being
  • Supporting transitions and changes in life
  • Encouraging community participation and connection

Support is person-centred, strengths-based based and tailored to your preferences.

What to Expect From Recovery Coaching

Your Recovery Coaching journey begins with an initial conversation where we take the time to understand your goals, strengths and the areas you would like support with. This helps us create a plan that focuses on what is most important to you and outlines how your coach can best support your progress.

Sessions may involve planning and organising tasks, building skills for daily living, exploring strategies to manage challenges or connecting you with helpful community services. Recovery Coaching is flexible and guided by your needs, providing steady support as you work toward greater independence and wellbeing.

Coaches may also work with your support network when appropriate, helping everyone involved feel confident and clear about your goals and the steps needed to achieve them. The focus is always on empowering you to take an active role in your recovery and build lasting capacity.

NDIS and Private Access

Available to NDIS and Private Clients

Recovery Coaching is available through both NDIS funding and private billing. We support individuals who are plan managed, self managed or accessing services privately.

If you are using NDIS, we can help you understand your plan, coordinate supports and work toward your stated goals. If you are accessing coaching privately, we will provide clear information about fees and session structure so you know exactly what to expect.

Our aim is to make accessing Recovery Coaching straightforward and supportive, regardless of how you are funded.
